1. Who we are
BorewellPro is borewell service management software for contractors. The public site (landing, sign-up, demo request, these legal pages) and the signed-in application are operated together. Designed & Developed by Nicco Web Solutions.
2. What we collect
Only what you type, or what the product needs to run the account you asked for:
- Account sign-up: full name, business name, email, hashed password, number of teams, and the plan you requested.
- Demo request: name, business name, email, phone, and the optional fields on that form (business type, team size, features, message).
- Password reset: the email you enter. A one-use token is stored as a hash until it expires or is used.
- Inside the app: the business records you enter for your company — customers, jobs, drilling logs, quotations, GST invoices, payments, AMC, staff, equipment, GPS check-ins and photos you upload.
- Technical: IP address on login attempts, demo requests, sign-ups and password-reset requests (for rate limiting). A session cookie keeps you signed in.
3. How we use it
- To create a pending owner account and show Super Admin your request (including team count and requested plan).
- To contact you about a demo walkthrough you asked for.
- To send a password-reset link if you request one.
- To run the product for your company after approval and license assignment: jobs, billing, AMC, staff and reports.
- To enforce sign-in rules (approved account, active company license, owner license key).
4. Company isolation
Each paying customer is a separate company. Jobs, invoices, customers and staff belong to that company_id. One company’s records are not listed in another company’s screens. Super Admin can see platform-wide requests and licenses in order to approve accounts — they are not a second owner of your day-to-day jobs.
5. Passwords and sign-in
Passwords are stored as a one-way hash. We do not keep them in plain text. The business owner must present the company license key at sign-in. Technicians and customers of that company use email and password and are blocked if the company license is not active. Failed attempts are counted per email and IP and temporarily locked after repeated failures.
7. Emails we send
If you ask to reset a password, we email a link that expires in 60 minutes and can be used once. We do not send marketing newsletters from this application. Demo requests and account requests create an in-app notice for Super Admin; they do not automatically email you a login.
8. What we do not do
- We do not sell customer lists or job data.
- We do not store passwords in plain text.
- A license key belongs to one company and is checked on the server. It does not work across companies.
- Submitting “Request a Free Demo” does not create an app login or grant access to another company’s data.
9. How long we keep it
Account and company records stay for as long as the workspace exists. Demo leads stay so Super Admin can follow up. Password-reset tokens are marked used or become invalid after 60 minutes. Login-attempt rows are used only for lockout windows. If you want an account removed, use the contact page and ask Super Admin.
10. Your choices
You can sign in (once approved) and edit the business data you entered. You can request a password reset. You can ask us to reject or disable an account you no longer want. Owners should not share the license key outside their business.
11. Changes
When this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page changes. Material changes should be reviewed before you continue to use the service.
12. Contact
